How do we write and implement a standardized curriculum for student leadership training for a region that is over one million square kilometres?

Solution:

This client was a highly engaged team of leaders who had set their sights on standardizing their associations student leadership development.  This association had been providing leadership training for almost two decades within their region with varying levels of effectiveness. 

We were tasked with doing an intake of their needs - this involved a focus group, evaluation of past materials, facilitated development session, and ultimately the collection/creating/culmination of standardized sessions. 

The end product was a measurable curriculum that could be easily trained to new trainers year-over-year.  With a standardized curriculum the association could ensure that regardless of geography the student leaders would receive the same powerful development sessions. It needed to be comprehensive, focused, agile, and easy to use.  

Now over a decade later.  This curriculum is still in use by this association. 

 
This solution was able to:  

• Develop a standardized and agile leadership development curriculum.
• Train new facilitators in a way that consistency of program delivery is at the forefront.
• Provide sessions that are measurable in their impact.
• Design a program that can be used longterm with minor adjustments.
