Let's Do a Learning Lunch
Problem: How do we develop managerial skills in a sustainable, developmental and powerful way?
Solution: First we performed an intake of our clients managerial learning needs. From there Tyler designed a program that integrated experiential learning, powerful facilitation techniques, and cutting edge research into a program that fit into multiple bite sized pieces. A core group of managers were invited to a regular "longer lunch," and Tyler joined them to deliver this powerful program.
Benefits that the mangers realized included: a management forum to discuss timely business issues, a linked peer-to-peer network of like minded professionals, cross pollination of ideas/actions across work teams, understanding of staff potential and management styles that work, and new ideas to reach and engage employees - to name a few.
This program also included access to our powerful online learning suite and team engagement tools. Managers have 24/7 access to e-learning and engagement tools to help put the things they learn at lunch into practice immediately at work.
Team Building in a 24/7 International Contact Centre
Problem: How do we conduct team building in an international 24/7 contact center operation?
Solution: Tyler provided a full on management training series that guided the managers through the theory of engagement and team design, practical tools that will help enable them to provide team- building events at an international 24/7 operation.
Included in the design of the companies program was a host of ready-made team programs so that the already busy manager could focus on implementation not design. The benefits of this project include: a library of team programs ready for implementation, a shared direction on building corporate culture, and management skill development in the areas of teams and engagement.
Gamification of Manager Training and Development
Problem: How do we provide an engaging set of leadership training programs in response to specific management learning needs?
Solution: Tyler custom-designed and delivered a 360 tool to assess blind spots and gaps in management knowledge. Upon completion of the assessment, a list of management learning sessions were proposed to the group of managers.
From there Tyler built a web-based game that gave “gold coins” for managers’ participation in learning activities, quality improvement projects, and other activities. There were prizes, badges, and more that helped keep the managers focused on the learning events in a fun way.
Finally, a series of 12 learning events were designed to respond to the learning needs identified in the 360 study.
Design and Deliver a Mentoring Program for Supervisors
Problem: How do we engage our supervisors/managers in a program that will encourage retention and skill development of our top 10 percent?
Solution: Through a careful study of industry standards and practices a structured mentoring program was designed. The program targets the busy mentor, with sessions that are completed “in the time it takes to drink a cup of coffee.”
A comprehensive list of sessions were created with specific educational outcomes, performance measures, learning tools, handouts, and more.
Sessions included both hard and soft skills, from push/pull techniques and performance management to conflict communication strategies and team building.
Following the design Tyler provided an intensive train-the-trainer program for the mentors and follow-up coaching as they implemented the program.
Build a an Online Quality Improvement Project Management System
Problem: How do we organize and track our managers work as they conduct Quality Improvement projects.
Solution: An organization-wide Quality Improvement (QI) process was designed that enabled managers to easily perform and collaborate on QI projects using an online project management tool. Managers engaged in a series of workshops to better understand the concepts and outcomes of QI. The QI solutions conducted by managers were then collected and provided to Senior Management, Board of Directors, and the Licensing Body.
Build Exclusive Team Building Events for an International Company for Resale
Problem: An internationally recognized provider of Team programs desired custom design of exclusive team building programs.

Each solution was packaged with sales materials, facilitator notes, set up notes, professional presentation, and more. Finally, a train-the-trainer event was held to transfer the knowledge to their top facilitators and sales team.
Following that the client sought team content for their updated web and social media presence. A monthly series of video blogs and written articles were created for use by the client.
